Meditation is one of those practices that was frustrating at first, and yet with a little persistence, the long term benefits to my life have been amazing.

A recent article I read on a study of the impact of meditation on peoples lives at Sydney University, showed that regular meditators are on average are 10 % happier and healthier than non meditators.
One of the common complaints about meditation is that people do not have the time. I find the opposite, in that the time I spend meditating is paid back to me many times over. Life flows more easily, I am open to new ideas and am constantly amazed at the things I create from my clear thoughts and beliefs.
It is in the stillness and quietness that I often resolve issues which have been puzzling me. I sometimes get a sense of peaceful heartfelt bliss that cannot be created any other way. I know this creates an anti aging products – meditation effect.
I have learnt over the years that while I follow a structured meditation practice, that friends report fantastic benefits from just sitting still and closing their eyes and letting their minds wander peacefully for 5 or 10 minutes.
